How about this for quitters
My last thread tried to deal with the problem of people quitting matches in random arena and it really didn't go anywhere. I wanted to punish people for quitting the matches and leaving their team to die but it just didn't seem possible.
So I thought why punish them? why not just reward those brave enough to stay and fight!
This is a little crazy but.. Good Riddance!! All remaining party members recieve +2 health regeneration for every member absent from party.
I don't know the exact math maybe it should only be +1 regen or an additional 100 health. I don't know exactly it's just a rough idea to start with but what do you guys think?
If a party member leaves the match, the 3 remaining members gain the bonus for the duration of the fight as to make up for the lost member. This bonus would not count if say the person died and then logged out. In fact once you deal or recieve any damage, you logging out has no bonus for your team.
It needs some final touches I'm sure but I think it's a possible solution to the very annoying problem of people quitting the match before it even started because they don't like their team setup.

lets see then. a team could easily go into a location, all but 1 of them leave and have 1 member completely buffed and able to farm the entire area. Its possible but would be easily abused.

Good idea, but maybe not something that can be abused (it would be hard to abuse it, but possible).
Or maybe you do punish the people that left before one of the teams won.
Like maybe for each game they leave they have -1 health or energy regen for X amount of minutes. It might be hard to program, but I know it isn't imposible. And it would *hopefully* solve the anoying people leaving RA teams. Also, I doubt this could be abused in anyway.

I think its more meant for PvP rather than area farming, but this just kicks Iway butt, lol, good heart, bad suggestion
You just made someone have like +14 health regen without buffs, lol

lol Funny Idea must say nice idea of a shout "good ridance!"
but put that aside im not sure that the +1 regen would help I think a henchman replace and the leaver gets baned from PvP for an half an hour...maybe you get a warning then if you do it again it happens.

For random arenas I would /sign this but not for anything else. In team arenas the person shouldn't leave because you put the team together yourself and in all other places its the same story. But for RA its fine. And since only 3 people can leave it would pretty just be iway without the attacks speed bonus.

Thanks for the input folks. Like I said it probably needs some more work but really not too much. This would only be for RA and not in anyway available for the pve side of life.
I originally wanted to punish those who left, but there were just too many arguments like what if I have to leave in case of an emergency why should I be punished?.. well this new idea isn't hurting people that really do have to leave and it's only helping an otherwise doomed team.
It's a wierd idea but in the worst case scenario, there's a w/mo left with +6 regen to solo a full team and they can't kill him. That's why I said maybe it would be better to add more health instead of regen. But give them something!! if not just to have good riddance in the game!

Over powered. It would fit in with the game either. Would be kinda Weird. I think quiters are something we should just deal with. Theres really nothing fair you can do about them. What you suggests over powers the remaining players. Do you know how much 2 health regen is? Or 100 health? Even an extra 1 health regen is way to much.

I don't think it's overpowered at all. 100 health you think is too much? that's 2 extra hit's from a half decent player. That' about 2 seconds of more life lol. Anyways the idea is out there to be fine tuned.

...100 extra health is imbalanced, no matter what the reason is. You can't see that, obviously...even if 2 hits can get rid of it, how about when they use a decent monk? GG.

I'd rather come up with some sort of penalty against the leaver (such as next 5-10 min they earn no faction points unless it was a disconnect - which the system can detect).
